I don't play many games any more, but my favorite game of all time, is Legend of Dragoon. It was the first console game I ever owned, and it was a game that just really spoke to me, and some of the philosophies within the game stick with me to this day.

I am a big fan of japanese (A)RPG, so mainly the Final Fantasy series (by the way, heard of Pony Fantasy 6 ? I think I'll check that soon ^^), Kingdom Hearts ♥ , Zelda, Tales of symphonia ... But I also like american style RPG, like the Elder Scrolls (I started with Daggerfall back then, but I only finished Oblivion and Skyrim) or the Arkham series (that's ARPG right ?), and platform games. I globally like retro gaming, and I am not a fan of war games, nor of RTS, I like MMORPG (when it's not too repetitive, or with friends at least, I am quite a lone gamer actually :x), not fan of PVP games (I am more into coop) Well I guess that sums it up ^^ Oh yeah, and Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross ♥♥ As for secret of mana, I love this game, but really, you never saw the french translation XD (that was still the beginning of game translating, beforehand we had the games in English, I remember playing Adventures in the magic kingdom on NES when I was 5, all in english, that was tough ^^ And the same for Daggerfall, even harder !) Tekken or get off my site. =D Ah, I'm playing Tekken 6 at the moment, not a big fan of combat games, but I did play the first 3 Mortal Kombat, and Killer instinct long ago, it's strange to play a modern one ^^

The last game I completed was Infamous, possibly one of the best sand box game ever, you play a electronic powered super being and you get to choose if you are the glowing hero of the city or if you are going to make everyone your b**ch. I also played Blue Dragon to death, it's a slower paced rpg for the xbox 360 that had a lot more in common with 16bit rpgs then the often overly complicated and gimmicky modern ones, there's and anime and a ds sequel but I haven't touched those. I don't own a console so I haven't been able to play many video games for a while, but I do play D&D tabletop and an excellent tabletop game called Blood Bowl that focuses on monsters playing American football. I have traveled around the world to play Blood Bowl and have made tons of friends out of it, I plan to visit Sweden, Canada and America next year for the game, if you want to give it a go Google 'Fumbbl' for the free online version.

Mechwarrior 4. The current Mechwarrior reboot is pretty good. Its in open beta right now and I'm spending a bit too much time playing it...
If anyone even suggests a Japanese mecha game, I will slap you through the screen.

I'll do a top five, as I am rather prolific and indecisive regarding favorites. These are in order of best to worst, but not separated by much and individually held high above all else to me. Hoorah hardcore PC gamer.
1. The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall.
A masterpiece of the DOS era of PC gaming and a masterpiece of PC gaming in general. So ridiculously ambitious that the game was like 25% done content wise and still came out with a landmass bigger than Great Britain and excellent gameplay. Still play it nearly every day.
2. The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind
It's right there next to Daggerfall. Nowhere near as big, but everything is hand placed and hand made, giving it much more polish per capita. Still excellent gameplay, still excellent roleplaying, and the introduction of modding to the TES series in a more accessible form makes it another game that I still play and have sunk more time into than is in any way reasonable.
3. The Lord of the Rings: Online
Yeah, no more TES, an MMO. Now, I don't play this one anymore; but from 2007 to 2009ish it's all I really played. Not quite a masterpiece, but boasting a very polished and believable Middle Earth (Or what was developed of it at the time, and what is still being developed) and one of the greatest fantasy stories ever told backing up the plot; it made for one of the only (In my opinion) successful story driven MMOs that has been released.
Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your point of view, the game went F2P and changed direction a bit; from a focus on world development and lore to more mass-appeal driven development. That's not why I don't play it anymore, but it's a shorter story; so yeah. (Still long, for sure!)
4. World of Warcraft
Yeah I know, but I played it for about as long as LotRO and believe me; I'm not going to forget any of that time spent anytime soon - or the people it connected me with and things I enjoyed. Certainly deserving of a spot.
5. Animal Crossing
And everyone is like 'wat'. Seriously though, this game, it's cute and fluffy and full of wonderment and other cheesy and saccharine things. As well as one of the only things that ever got me off the damn computer when it was new and for quite some time after. (This is the GC release, mind.) I was a Nintendo kid once, and for a while I got reminded of why. (Then I remembered PC RPGs and MMOs still existed (Although the latter to a lesser degree than before).

This is what Hasbro needs (If they want to make unlimited money). MLP version of this, similar to the Gameloft one but with MOAR ponies and things from the show. As new seasons come out, more DLC. Build your own pony and interact with everyone in Equestria.

Pony Crossing? GOTY, all years. It would be so awesome that they would change all the previous games of the year, to Pony Crossing.
