Ah yes, or as I like to call it: "The Results of Reading all that Fanfiction"
1.) Scootaloo is an orphan
2.) Applejack's parents are dead
3.) Celestia and Luna are uniquely immortal ponies, but one can become an alicorn through unknown methods
4.) VS/Octavia
5.) Discord and Celestia were once romantically entangled
6.) Ditzy Doo/Derpy is the mother of Dinky

1). Scootaloo is physicaly disabled
2). Dinky Doo is Derpys adopted daughter, I just think it makes the relationship more beautiful
3). Discord is really more neutral then evil.
4). Gamer Luna... I still haven't figured out why I like this one so much, it makes no sense.
5). Seaponies
6). VS/Octi, FriendSHIPed.
7). Fluttershy is a masked wrestler on the side, attempting to find the wrestler who murdered her parents!
8). Pinkie Pie is the equestrian version of Cthulhu, who has a much more positive perspective on life.
9). When no pony is looking, Rainbow Dash dresses in style darling.
10). Twilight sparkle could take on Batman.
11). Big Mac Laughs at the incredible hulks strength.
12). Feather Weight is the Spidercolt.
13). Lyra x Bon Bon
14). Soarin has super powers he gained from eating a radioactive pie, now he has all the abilities of a pie.

1. Twilight is ludicrously overpowered pony messiah and the best parts of both princesses.
2. Ditzy/Dinky mother daughter.
3. Rarijack, everywhere.
4. Lyra is on an eternal quest to find humanity.
There's probably a lot more, but that's what I can think of.

The only one I'm really fond of is Appledash <3 My favorite shipping. The only thing I can come up with is that Applejack's parents are dead (Or else they are the worst parents ever). Scootaloo is disabled according to Lauren Faust, but we'll see if the writers stick to that. I'm not really attached to any one idea. As long as it makes sense for the story I'm reading, I can usually roll with it. |

Are we doing this? We're doing this? Okay we're doing this.
1: Equestria is really the far off future after a modified nuclear bomb goes off and wreaks havoc across the land and mutates humans in brightly hued equines. Celestia and Luna found a pair of special crowns that gave them immortality but started to drive them crazy. Over the years they found a way to seperate the mental effects of their crowns. The spell granted their sanity but lead to the creation of Discord. The two sisters vanquished the evil they unleashed with the help of Star Swirl the Bearded (who defeated a giant bear and an evil ocean) and mystical gems of power inserted in a tiara and other jewelry. After each threat was dealt with the mental side effects of the crown came back driving Luna completely insane giving Celestia no choice but to lock her away in the moon until she could find a way to cure her.
Fast forward 1000 years and Twilight the Unicorn and Spike the Dragon adventure into Ponyville making many friends who end up using the gems of power to help cure Princess Luna. They have many adventurous times together re-defeating many villains of the past. Eventually the Princessess decide to give Twilight Sparkle a test against one of the greatest villains of all, King Sombra. With the help of her magical companion King Sombra is defeated (temporarily) and the Princessess decided to prepare Twilight Sparkle for the real battle against King Sombra and Luna prepares the Enchiridion for her.
MLP:FiM is fanic for Adventure Time.
2: Rarity x Spike is only valid ship.
3: Trixie is dead.
4: Snails will grow up to be a stud and marry Diamond Tiara.

I made this thread at like 12:30 am and for some reason my brain equated "headcanon" and "ships". But since we've already gone way outside the spectrum of ships, I'l list the rest of my headcanons.
1. Appledash. All the adorable.
2. Gamer Luna. Partly because of Two Best Sisters Play, partly because the idea itself just makes me giggle a lot.
3. Equestria is a Tier 4 civilization (limited terraforming, limited space travel).
4. Berry Punch is a very fun drunk.
5. Scootaloo is an orphan.
6. Rainbow Dash comes from a very wealthy background, but rejects her parents to go live in Ponyville and gain recognition through her own merit, not by being born at the top.
PS: Spike x Rarity is an absolute truth, not simply a headcanon. Sparity is legit canon.

Fave bits of headcanon? Okay, here goes:
1. Derpy & Dinky: Could you seriously NOT include this one? It's just too adorable to pass up. which brings us to..
2. The entire 'Sisterhooves Social' is a charity event hosted by the Apple family to raise funds for the Ponyville equivalent of 'Big Brothers/Big sisters', and Sparkler is Dinky's 'big sister'
3. Snowflake/Big McLargehooves/Roid Rage's actual name is Heavyweight, he's Featherweight's dad, and he couldn't be more proud of his kid!
4. Ma and Pa Apple are very much alive and are off starting a new town on Equestria's frontier at Celestia's request. The Apple family seems to be good at that sort of thing.....
EDIT: One piece of headcanon I forgot about until today's episode: Fancy Pants is super rich because his family owns the Friendship Express Railroad that Crisscrosses Equestria...

Fluttershy is a lesbian/bisexual. This headcanon came to me in a dream (I dreamt I was watching an episode where Fluttershy was nervous on Hearts And Hooves Day because she couldn't tell any of her friends about whom she truly loved and she thought they'd be mean to her about loving a mare).
The statue of Discord (after he was turned into stone again) been lowered into the ocean and will lie there for millenia; "What is dead may not eternal lie, and in strange eons, even death may die". Discord is Pony Cthulhu, pretty much, and there is a Pony R'lyeh (sea pony civilization maybe?).

I would never... never romantically ship two close friends... in a children's show... buck it, Flutterdash is the only exception to my disdain of shipping. SO CUTE! Lastly, my Derpy theory is that Hugh Jelly is her father.  |
