I think I'm going crazy

Lately I have been reading through a book (a rather dull one at that-Jane Eyre) for school. The only problem is that I keep on getting distracted by--you guessed it: Ponies.

It's not that simple though...It's isn't that I desire to watch pony videos so bad or listen to music...it's that I keep on seeing ponies, well...sort of...it's complicated, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who experiences this strange phenomenon; allow me to elaborate.

Every so often, when I blink, or am about to blink, or sometimes right when I open my eyes, I see an image for a split-second. What this image contains is unpredictable, but it always has the same content: Ponies...of course. This has been happening to me quite frequently, and while I can not say I understand it, I enjoy it nevertheless.

Recently, relative to when this started happening (~1 month), I have been seeing images of Scootaloo; granted, however, that these are not vivid images but more so "Dream-like" images. They are always spontaneous and new; never are they images I have seen before--rather images that my mind has fabricated, but they always follow a trend: some days I will see Rainbow Dash, others Rarity, and today, as previously stated, I keep on seeing Scootaloo.

This is a complete enigma to me; I have no knowledge of what could be causing this nor of why it started so spontaneously;
I have never experienced anything like this before. It's like MLP has some mind-control or latent messages in it. Regardless of its enigmatic nature, I still am quite fond of this nonsensical occurrence; it's like my mind is gifting me with a new image every few seconds/minutes.

Coincidentally, I am experiencing this very phenomenon as I type this. Who knows? Maybe I'll gain be able to control these images at will, otherwise, I might just be schizophrenic.

Honestly though, if its just for a half second after you blink, its probaly just a over imaginative mind that obsessed with ponies. This used to happen to me a bit when I was younger. Now I'm not saying its nothing and I may be linked to something else (Like you said schizophrenia), but you may want to mention it to your doctor. Now if its more then just after you blink and maybe out of the corner of you eye, then you most likely want to go see a doctor

It sounds like your situation is kind of weird, but I would totally roll with it. Reminds me of this:

This only occurs after I blink, I don't see them in the corner of my eye (though that sounds pretty cool honestly). Now that I'm beginning to delve into this occurrence, it sound pretty cool to me--I see ponies spontaneously I must harvest this ability for good however; such raw power in incapable hands can go awry!

Who knows? Maybe one day, I'll wake up in Equestria.

...I think I just talked myself into wanting to be schizophrenic...confound these ponies! ;D

Well, in Jane eyre I wanted the ponies to do something else besides just pulling Rochesters new carriage.

Anyways, I think I'm crazy...and I'm alright with that
