Well hello, BHG!
I'm NinjaColt. I wanted to stop and introduce myself and say that I'm really excited to be a part of the group. This is an incredible idea, and the BHG website, although still under construction, is looking beautiful, and really made me want to be a part of this
Here's my story...
I was a track and field and cross country runner for four years in my high school days before going off to film school to follow my dream. Although film is my passion, it leaves very little free time for... well, pretty much anything else. After I graduated, I got a job at a production company as an editor (that's the post-production department), which was pretty much a dream come true for me. As awesome of a job as it is, it involves me sitting in front of a computer screen, often for 14 hours at a time or more. Needless to say, it's not the healthiest of jobs.
I've always been below 130 lbs. due to a freakish metabolism, but during my running days I felt healthier, stronger, and like I was actually built the way I was supposed to be. Now, I skip meals, don't get to move around a lot, and just feel generally slower and weaker. I miss the feeling of being in shape.
In March 2011 I became a brony, and I enjoy this fandom almost as much as I enjoy making films. I'm looking forward to getting back in to a routine work out schedule and eating right with the motivation of like-minded individuals who all share a passion for this great show and a want to look and feel their best.
I wish everyone the best of luck, and hope we can all reach our goals and stay motivated by helping each other and leading by example!
