No, not that kind of juicing.
Anyone else here enjoy a nice glass of juice from time to time?
For those unfamiliar, juicing is using a juicing machine at home, or maybe in public if there's a juicing bar in your area, where you take all kinds of fruits and vegetables and separate the juice from the pulp. Juicing anything from spinach to apples to carrots to ginger root even.
Juicing is a great way to get a large dose of everything those vegetables you normally dislike (I'm looking at you spinach!) without the taste you don't care. For example, you might take an entire bunch or package of spinach and juicing that with some green apples, some lemon, and a little bit of ginger root and viola! You have a tasty sweet and mildly sour health drink. This basically allows you to intake large amounts of the nutrients that greens such as spinach, kale, celery, cucumbers, broccoli, etc. have to offer that you normally would never be able to physically eat in one sitting.
Juicing can be a great addition to a diet, especially when you want to take some of those more drastic measures such as skipping meals, a glass juice can make a good replacement for skipping a meal.
It's also great for when you're low on energy, if you're one of those people that get wiped out half way through work, this could help you. There are plenty of recipes for juicing that focus on energy in particular, best part is, it will give you that give energy boost and won't crash you later on.
I like juice.
