Thought about where a thread like this should go but wasn't sure, figured I'd just put it in here. Feel free to move it if it fits elsewhere better.
Anyway, I'm wondering if there are any fellow No Shave November participants here?
It's my third year in a row doing this and I know it's probably not all that fashionable looking but I like the tradition, kind of like a small man's man holiday. I just love having some hair on my chin anyway, though any other time I would groom/style it a bit.

I personnally cannot bear beard (it itches all too much) but otherwise I would follow it, I like this kind of thing

I have been using it as an excuse to try and grow a goatee, I'm still shaving my neck and sides because they grow like brillo pads.

Guys, the purpose of Movember isn't to grow facial hair, it's to promote awareness of prostate cancer.

That's Movember though, where you grow a mustache for prostate cancer awareness. No Shave November is simply growing facial, partly for warmth against the cold weather. Especially as it can be extended all the way into the Spring of the following year.
Movember is kind of a silly idea if you ask me, nobody really knows about it as it is still a relatively fresh idea and the mustache isn't something that really sticks out if a man sports it. Unlike a man wearing a pink shirt for breast cancer awareness, that's a much more obvious thing and something that people might actually ask about. Marketing prostate cancer with something normal is... kind of difficult. I mean you wouldn't market testicular cancer with blue jeans would you? Classic example of good cause, poor execution.

I'm aware. I have a lot of friends growing fluff for charity, I just got in on the ground floor too late to gather sponsors.

I would have loved to do it, but I didn't wanna look grubby at work.

I used to do this but I looked awful. My facial hair is three colors and doesn't grow in evenly.
