Hey, I'm Ingwaz. I probably won't be too horribly active on this board but I'll try to share my healthier recipes and what not when I can. Long story short, I've been pretty unhealthy for some time now. A few years ago I was around 280 lbs (127 kilos) (i'm 6'4" tall (194cm for you weirdos)) and I didnt like that. I decided that I wanted to be healthier and at that point in time, i did lose a little weight which brought me down somewhere to about 260 lbs. After that happened nothing much changed and while I did try to eat healthier it was not a top priority for me. Now I want to lose even more weight since I noticed that I was still at 260 this past summer and I decided to be more careful about eating too much and trying to substitute healthier options sometimes. over about the past 2 months or so, I've managed to lose another 15 lbs and am now around 245. I'd still like to lose even more weight and I intend to do so. I'm hoping to get down to about 220-200 but I don't really exercise much despite needing to. Anyway, that was a really long story despite me saying it wouldnt be. Hopefully this forum will be a benefit to me and my efforts and I'll hopefully be able to benefit others as well.

Good to hear a positive story from a member. I myself dropped 50 pounds to get into the Navy. After a while you'll discover that exercising is just as important as eating healthy. Put them together and you'll shed the pounds right off.

It sounds like you are going in the right direction. And shwarzwald is correct. You putting eating healthy together with exercise and it's like magic.
