Yesterday I made bibimbap for my family, it was delicious and everyone loved it. Here’s my recipe: - boil jasmine rice, enough for the amount of people you’re going to feed (this recipe is for three)
- make a marinade out of 1 tablespoon each of honey, sesame oil and soy and a clove of garlic pressed into it, put some diced chicken/quorn/tofu in the marinade, let them lie there until everything else on the list is done
- a bunch of carrots (5-6 ones maybe?), cut them into matchsticks or similar, stirfry them in some oil (rapeseed is flavourless and good) and then add some sesame oil to them when they’re done
- parboil some fresh spinach leaves (two-three handfuls per person?) and add some sesame oil to them when they’re all soft and nice
- chop up a bunch of mushrooms (15+ ones), stirfry them in rapeseed oil with a clove of garlic chopped up in there as well, add sesame oil when it’s done
- open a can of bean sprouts, sieve away the water from the can and rinse the sprouts in water, let them drip dry, stirfry them in some rapeseed oil and add sesame oil
- stirfry the chicken/quorn/tofu with the marinade as sauce, it will be delicious and amazingly good
- put the rice in the bottom of a bowl, add all the ingredients in an aesthetically pleasing manner, then fry an egg and put on top (if vegan, ignore the egg).
- add some gochujang (Korean chili sauce) and you’re done
It's supposed to look somewhat similar to this: If you want to make it healthier, use more vegetables and less rice and don't use a lot of oil when frying things.

"some gochujang" is read as "4 to 6 tablespoons"

I put it as "some" because people's spiciness tolerance can differ. For my little sister, I made sure not to put any gochujang in it at all since she can't stand hot sauces.
Gochujang is also amazing as a sandwich spread!

I've never thought of it as a spread. Hmm, that gives me an idea. Thanks!
