Hello everypony. I'm Wavy, and I'm a lazy novelist that's tired of being unable to dedicate myself to losing weight and building the muscle I want to look good and feel good. Changes to my diet and overcoming ADHD to build good excercise habits on a small budget and busy schedule are the challenges I hope to overcome.
My first goal is to work to overcome my low stamina and remove extra fat around my stomach and hips, while my long term goal is to have an impressive upper body and possess the long-term habits to stay fit for life.
I'm currently an even 6 feet tall weighing at 165 pounds, with a BMI of 22.4
Any advice or criticism is welcome! And it's a pleasure to meet you all!

Welcome here then, and good luck with your goals ! It's good to have long term goals like these to keep in mind ^^ I don't really have advice to give you, but I'd like to warn you of something : keep in mind that whereas mare store fat primarily in chest and hips, us colts store it primarily on the belly (because hormones say so). Thus, it make take some time to actually *see* progress in this area, but don't let it make you lose motivation, it might come on the longer term

Rainpony is right about the hormones and fat. Your body decides where it stores and burns the fat from. We don't really have much say in it. You have a good plan though. Stick to it and you will see results.
And have a /) from another brony with ADHD!

Stupid stomach fats. I'd punch them to teach a lesson, but I only end up hurting myself with that :/

Hey wavy if your tight for time and budget I would recommend just looking up a cheap used set of dumbbells on craigslist/kijiji/garage sale and a chin up bar. For the dumbbells just make sure there is a good variety of weight and get them as cheap as possible, your muscles cant tell the difference between rusty iron 10 pounds and chrome 10 pounds and the chin up bar is for convenience though you can use any solid bar that's hanging in the air like those found at a playground for example.
Virtually every muscle group can be worked with these items just as well as anything you'd find in a gym, you wont need to pay for the gym memberships, and you can save time by avoiding the trip back and forth from the gym.
The only things to consider with that is you'll need some room in the house to workout/put the dumbbell rack and depending on the person it may be more distracting to workout at home
