I would like to thank you guys for an awesome panel at Brony Con, it had some great info that was very useful for anyone looking to get into shape.
I just started my healthy push at the start of this year, about the same time I actually started watching MLP: FiM.
When I started I was 178 pounds, working at a desk job, did not eat or sleep well and got no exercise.
I was sorting out some personal issues in my life and really fell hard into the MLP community and decided I want to make some changes.
I changed my diet completely, portioning my meals out to about seven small meals per day instead of the three square meals.
I signed up with a gym, I go work out every Tue, Thur and Sat. I also started doing cardio on Mon, Wed and Fri.
The change was not over night, it has been slow and progressive but every day I wake up feeling a little better, more confident and a lot more fit. Pants I bought just a few months ago just don't fit any more. I have to actually wear a belt for the first time since high school.
My last weigh in I came in at 143 pounds. I went back to the doctor and he asked if I had been doing a lot of exercise because my resting heart rate was really low.
I don't want to stop here though, I want to keep pushing myself further and further to see how much more my body will give me.
I am joining this group to get information, support and to hopefully provide some information and support.
Thank you.
