Stressed? Here are a few tips: 1: Squeeze someting. It could be a stress ball, or you could cut up a pool noodle and use that! 2: Take a deep breath 3: (I know that this is weird but trust me it works) Go to the bathroom Reply if YOU have ideas of calming yourself

1. Watch MLP, seriously, it's helped me through the toughest time in my life. Just focus on the joy the show brings you and nothing else.
2. Tire yourself out with pushups, situps, anything on the spot you can think of. I've never gotten in trouble at work for doing exercises, people like seeing people take care of themselves. And it is loads better than taking it out on someones face! Just don't overdo it!
3. Goes with deep breathing but, meditate, take a few deep breaths to get yourself to a meditative state, them just... drift. 10 times out of 10 when I do this I realize my problems really aren't anything that should get me ruffled. It's a big universe, don't sweat the small stuff!
All I've got for now, great idea runforever101!

For me relaxing is something along the lines of
1. Put on some PinkiePieSwear, close my eyes and relax.
2. Like revandose said, some workouts. For me the workout itself isn't terribly relaxing, unless it involves exploring or enjoying the weather, but there's nothing better than arriving home physically exhausted and then flopping onto your bed to relax.
3. Can't think of a third...

I highly recommend meditation. It has always calmed me and helped me be well prepared for life's challenges.
For those who could afford it, a hot tub with well placed jets can really be soothing and relaxing. If you can't afford that, a simple hot water bath followed by a hot shower can also be effective.

I highly recommend meditation. It has always calmed me and helped me be well prepared for life's challenges. This Meditation is amazing for stress, a lot of people under estimate it. On the flip side, getting a punching bag, or practicing martial arts of any type can also be a great stress release. Nothing quite sedates our primal urge to hit something like actually hitting something.

My stresses are rarely caused by emotional means (e.g. angry at someone). If I am stressed it is because I need to do something and it won't go away on its own. In this case it is best to write a big checklist of everything that needs doing and highlight/underline the time-critical ones then do them. It is very important to do this as soon as possible. It is like getting back on a horse after you have fallen; the longer you leave it, the harder it will be to bring yourself to get back to riding. It is a must to start your tasks as soon as you can, even if they are not time-critical. From my experience, things either get done immediately or the minute before they are needed.
If you have already been off the horse for a while and you are stressed, set an alarm on your phone to go off in 15 minutes. In that time do as much concrete work as you can knowing you can stop when the timer goes off. Once it goes off, however, you will more likely be in the mood to continue.

Exercise is a great destresser! Nothing clears my head like a jog.
But if you're working on a project, my professor suggests "playing". Just play and experiment around with whatever you are doing and the solution will come.

Fortunately -and unfortunately- I have learned to deal with stress, mostly because I had too much of it on my shoulders for a couple of months. What I do? 1. Draw something. I just grab a pencil and start drawing. It doesn't have to be something in particular, it could just be lines. But, it helps to empty my mind for a bit. 2. Listen to slow and relaxing music. Yeah, I know, usual. Still, it does the trick! And, in combination with slow and deep breathing, it's miraculous. Almost. xD 3. I do something active, like dancing or punching something. ... Those poor pillows. Anyway, excercising helps me let out all of my stress and anger, which is caused by the stress. 4. Check-lists! They light the weight of my brain, because, if I have the things I must do written somewhere, I worry less about them.

I tend to have anger issues myself. When I don't have Tekken to calm me down I usually turn to music like this:
And I can't forget ponies to calm me down!
But if I don't get any of those I tend to find a nice quiet place to Shadow Bolt Box. I don't imagine hitting the person or anything, I focus on technique and use it to let anger out slowly while focusing on my own body movements.

This is one of my favorite mixes to chillax to:
I also like to play a video game that I'm REALLY way too good at, like Medieval 2: Total War, and avoid challenging ones, like Halo. Nothing puts me in a good mood like a 50:1 kill ratio.
