Hey everypony How's it going? I've been really looking for a means to start to get myself healthy. I've been generally thin all my life, used to be able to eat whatever I wanted and I'd always be skin and bones, despite how inactive I was. But ever since I've been in college this has changed; I still have a thin structure, but I'm so flabby all over, especially in my stomach and face, and my energy level is so low. It's really been depressing me for the last few months, but I've never had the motivation to do something about it. I hope seeing a community of like-minded people will put things into perspective for me Thanks for making this DudeBro!

I know how you feel, getting the motivation to do something aobut these problems is very hard, and it's also very hard to keep at it, But I do think that having such an awesome community can help one out to keep going, we can all do this together I believe! =D
Anyways, nice to meet you Ocean =)

Thanks! Let's do this! My big goal is to be fit by grad school. 10 months is a decent amount of time I think...
Although I intend to change my lifestyle as a whole for the really big goal, of course.

A lifestyle change is the big one! But it is extremely rewarding as a lifestyle sticks with you I'd recommend starting with making healthy habits! Just keep doing it everyday and eventually it will be weird when you don't do it. I wish you luck and I hope we work too Also, I'm doing great thanks how about you?

Welcome ocean! It is hard to gain motivation, i gain it from the community and to motivate others! To get more muscles your body need Protein which you can find in foods like tuna, chicken, turkey or many milk products, and maybe your energy level is low because you eat the wrong carbohydrates. There are different types of carbohydrates the good one are in potatoes, noodles, rice, wholemeal products and black bread. If you can handle it to eat healthy the half way is done, Physical activities are important too! The rule for Physical activities is to do what you like! If you dont like any Physical activites go out and find one that you like to do.
If you got any questions about healthy eating dont be afraid to ask!
