For those of us with dry skin and/or other problems remember that a hot shower can cause irritation. It is better to take a lukewarm or cold shower and to only use soap under your arms, around your groin, and on the soles of your feet.
And don't forget to moisturize afterwards every time you bathe.

Also drink plenty of water and have a nice high-protein meal afterwards to maximize your metabolic rate.

If you stink as hell, please go home walking: don't go on a crowded bus

Most of the time, you can't tell your own smell. So just make a habit out of showering after any exercise! If you don't like using public showers (like the one your gym may provide), shower and change when you get home.

I always use shampoo and soap when I shower. And I always put on deodorant after I shower.

Stretch, stretch, stretch! Do not forget to stretch after a workout, and definitely be hygenic. For myself, after a typical workout I:
Stretch Wash hands Get food, eat, etc. Shower
I deodorant before I head to the gym. It lasts long enough for me, even when drenched in sweat.

I don't shower at the Gym EW that is gross and nasty. I shower at home where I use my own shower and products.
