I think it would be great to embed a chat-box within part of the site, or have a link to a secondary website where bronies can talk in real time to one another. The forums are a great way of communication and especially a great way to throw out your opinion, but I believe an instant messaging would be good for idle chit-chat and other miscellaneous conversations relevant to the BHG.

There is a way to get a chatbox on the forum page, but I've seen many forums die out due to lack of activity when people stick to the chat box which is also very hard to regulate. It's an option, but for now we're choosing not to go with it, but things may change if there is enough demand for it. =D

To add to this, with the forum we can make friends and IM chat with those who we have become familiar enough.

Why not make a chat room on a different site where we can all chat? I've been to two forums that did that.

Having three sites would be too many to effectively run and it would take away from these two. We'll discuss the option soon.
