The clothing I wear depends upon how much I want to sweat and the surrounding temperature.
If it is hot and/or I don't want to sweat too much, I would wear a light T-shirt (preferably white in color) tucked into a pair of shorts (my preference is red) that comes several inches above the knee.
If it is cooler and/or I want to really sweat, then I would wear sweatpants (preferably black or dark gray) with a sweatshirt or thick hoodie (also black or dark gray).

If you're concerned about sweating, you might be better untucking your shirt. It will allow for more air flow. Tucking your shirt in will keep body heat in a bit, and might even restrict your movement a little.

On the other hand, tucking in your shirt is useful for checking your back arch when you're video recording your exercise form.
What, nobody else does that? Lol.
